interACT has just released its 3rd newsletter. The project has successfully completed its mid-term review in December 2018 and looks back to six exciting project months!
Based on their insights from the observational studies on human-human interaction they shifted their attention to the development of the hardware components for the demonstrator vehicles of CRF and BMW. Thus, they improved the sensor algorithms, developed, integrated and tested the first version of the software components for the Cooperation and Communication Planning Unit and started several user tests to come up with the final interaction strategies. They further took the opportunity to discuss and disseminate the project results at international workshops and conferences, in scientific papers and at the ITS World Congress 2018 in Copenhagen. Enjoy the reading of their 3rd newsletter and stay tuned to the 2nd half of the interACT project!
